Huawei released their new line-up of Mate 30-series phones. It comes with excellent camera features such as unbelievable 7680-FPS and finally a phone which came with good camera design. However, the biggest drawback of Huawei Mate 30-series phone seems to be Google Play services.
Huawei released their phone for the first time outside China without Google Play services. It simply means that the phone does not come with Google Play Store and other Google services. A lot of us are heavily relied on Google services, so it would be really hard to live without them on an Android phone.
However, this is not something we should worry about. Huawei did care to bring us alternatives of these Google services. For example, the Mate 30-series comes with Huawei AppGallery and they’re paying app developers to upload their app in AppGallery. Also, they’re offering Huawei Mobile Cloud which you can use to backup your phone’s data, Huawei Video as streaming service and their own web browser which would replace Chrome.
I know, there will be a lot of apps which won’t be available in their app store. And you wouldn’t be able to restore data (such as Contacts, Settings etc.) using Google Drive. So, if you really wanted to purchase their Mate 30-series but holding back just because of lack of Google Play services, then you might have to think twice. Why?
Because you can install Google Play services on Huawei Mate 30-series smartphones.
Yes, if you’re not satisfied with Huawei’s attempt to provide an alternative to Google services, you can install them yourself.

Well, it’s quite a bit of time taking but at the end, it is worth the effort. Huawei is already doing their best to provide the best possible experience without Google services, but we all know that Android users are heavily dependent on Google products for a lot of stuff, even our passwords.
So, hopefully Huawei will manage to provide Google services officially to their Mate 30-series smartphones. And till then, you can follow this method to enjoy all the Google services.
